For property managers and owners · Tampa Bay & Florida’s Gulf Coast

Displaced families need furnished homes near the one they lost.

Insurance adjusters post what a claim needs — area, move-in date, bedrooms, budget, pets. If your furnished mid-term inventory fits, you hear about it and reply directly.

No commission. No percentage of rent. We are not a party to your lease.

Why mid-term, why insurance

Longer stays. Fewer turnovers. A professional on the other side.

30 to 120 days, commonly longer

One resident for three or four months instead of a dozen weekend bookings. Lower cleaning costs, lower wear, fewer gaps between tenants.

Typically funded through the claim

Temporary housing for a displaced policyholder is generally covered under the additional living expense provision of their policy, so rent is usually handled through the claim rather than collected from the resident. Terms are between you and the adjuster.

You keep the relationship

You talk to the adjuster. You set your terms. You sign your own lease. We are a directory and a communication portal — not a broker, not on your lease, and not involved in your rent.

What it costs

No commission. Ever.

  • We never take a percentage of your rent — not at launch, not later.
  • Free to list right now, while we build Gulf Coast inventory.
  • Founding members: the first 100 properties keep their launch rate when paid listings begin.
  • When listing does become paid, it will be a flat annual fee you can see before you commit.

Straight answer

Free is launch pricing, not a permanent promise. We would rather say that now than surprise you later. The structure will stay flat and predictable — the same shape you already know from a listing subscription, applied to insurance placements.

Questions managers ask

Is this Section 8 or a government program?

No. These are private insurance claims. The resident is a homeowner or renter whose own home is being repaired.

Who pays, and when?

Terms are agreed between you and the adjuster before anyone moves in. Temporary housing is generally handled through the policyholder's additional living expense coverage. We are not party to the payment and do not process it.

What if the repair runs long?

The adjuster requests an extension through the platform and you approve or decline it. You are never obligated to extend.

Do I have to furnish the property?

For most placements, yes — a displaced family arrives with very little. Unfurnished listings are allowed but see far less demand.

Am I locked in?

No contract and no exclusivity. Pause or remove a listing at any time.

Are you a broker?

No. ClaimStay Direct is an advertising directory and communication portal. We do not negotiate leases, sign documents on anyone's behalf, or handle money.

Be listed before the next claim comes in.

Listing is free while we build Gulf Coast inventory, and the first 100 properties keep their launch rate.
